Learn EFT! Recommended on 43 Things.com 43 Things is a rapidly expanding website community where members login and file their aspirations in the box that asks “what do you want to do with your life?” Their responses are shown on the site’s front page in a similar way to Technorati tags - that is, there’s a list of words, and the more popular the word, the bigger it looks on the screen. Refreshingly, 43 Things is a community of interesting aspirants who write things like: “I want to live instead of exist” rather than things like “get drunk every Friday” for an old personal development hack like me - it makes the heart sing! But back to EFT. EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, and it’s one of the fastest growing self-help tools on the internet. It’s easy to learn and easy to use, children from around the age of 7 can get the hang of it in just a few minutes. And once you know it, you can use EFT for a whole range of uncomfortable emotions such as: anxiety, fear, anger, sadness, lack of motivations, you name it, EFT can help you with it. Over on 43 Things.com EFT features in the following tags: And the verdict? Those who tried EFT gave it a “worth doing” marker and continue to report on how useful it is in their day to day lives. No matter how good a thing is, it always takes a while for it to catch on. I first learned EFT in 1998, I still use it, my family and friends still use it, and people I’ve taught it to via my book and workshops are, I hear, still using it.
